Eco-Club showed the importance of reusing bags when shopping. Children and adults were reminded that a 5p charge for shopping bags has been introduced since April 8th. 250 million plastic carrier bags are used in Northern Ireland each year. This has a devastating impact on the environment. Everyone is reminded to bring a bag with them when they shop.
