LASCO Maths Challenge in P7

Today, 1st of February, Mrs Mc Monagle's maths class took part in the LASCO Maths Challenge 2013. We did this to raise money for the Latin American Street Children Organisation  (LASCO). We all  donated £1 to participate.

We began the challenge at 1 O,Clock and we worked with our problem solving partners. We completed 'Quiz 1' which contained 10 questions. We have been practising LASCO problem solving questions over the last 2 weeks so we knew what to expect.

We thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and liked being stretched in our thinking. The Challenge covered all aspects of maths and really made us think.

We had great fun and were also very proud to be involved in something which was going to help others. 

We worked really hard and fingers crossed - we hope we win!!
