We will be studying lots of different topics this year including: Destination Egypt, The Derry Walls and Water Water Everywhere. These World Around Us topics help us explore and find answers to questions about Geography, History, Science and Technology. We have lots of trips organised too.

There are also lots of lessons which develop creativity, allow everyone to express their ideas and feelings through pictures, sound, drama and dance. 

We will not be in the classroom all the time! We love to go outside and reinforce our learning through outdoor activities. We can do every subject outside if we use our imagination!

Swimming lessons will begin in the third term in Primary 5 and they are great fun and improve our fitness. It doesn't matter if you don't know how to swim because the excellent instructors will help you learn. 

We also run a tuck shop in term 3 and you will all become young entrepreneurs and make lots of profit!
