Oakgrove Mascots
Twenty three girls and boys from Oakgrove Integrated Primary and Nursery School were asked to become mascots for the day at local side Institute FC's home game against Loughgall at the weekend. All of the children really enjoyed the day and will have fond memories of the day. The children got to play on the pitch before the game and at half time, got photos taken before the match, and got to take part in the prematch parade. Institute Football Club looked after the children very well giving them treats and sweets by way of a thank you (Don't tell Dr Murray!). A word of gratitude has to go to Institute FC for inviting the school to take part, and all of the parents and guardians who helped with supervision on the day. A special word of thanks goes to 'Wee Sam' who stood in at the last minute to help represent Oakgrove Primary School.
