Primary 5 have been learning so much about the Ancient Egyptians. We really enjoyed our trip to the Ulster Museum to see the mummy Takabuti. We saw real canopic jars and were inspired to make our own in class. We used mod roc to make the cylinder shape and we have decorated them with gold paint and hieroglyphics. The next step is to make the jar heads from clay.
