Today, two groups from Primary 7 visited the Context Gallery in the PlayHouse. Two composers, Christian and Phil taught the children how to make their own 'thumb pianos' using wood and a variety of metal and wooden spokes. The children thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with sound. The also created their own mini amplifier. One group even came up with a name for their new band 'The Thumbles'.
This was a great opportunity and learning experience for the children which consolidated what they have learned in science about sound!!
