Primary 7A's Trip to FabLab with Reach Across
On Tuesday 9th January, Primary 7A enjoyed a great day out with their partner class from Chapel Road Primary School at FABLAB in the Nerve Centre. The trip was organised by R.E.A.C.H Across as part of our cross community workshop.
We were split into 4 groups and each group had pupils from each of the 2 schools. Our task at FABLAB was to work as a team to design and make a model which would be displayed in our school. It was a competition because only 2 of the designed models would be made. Each team had to design their model and present a pitch. The winning teams were Team X-Treme and Team OakRoad. FABLAB will now make the winning team's models, which we will then paint and decorate.
Everyone enjoyed working together and had a great day out. We are very sad that this is our last activity with R.E.A.C.H. Across.
