18th Jan 2017
Primary 1 and Primary 4 were delighted to welcome a speaker from the RSPB of Wednesday 11th January. We looked a different types of birds that are common in our school grounds. We were told that we are very luck to a have such a wonderful Science Garden. The children got to use binoculars to look for birds. We saw:
- 2 Blackbirds
- 2 Blue Tits
- 2 Carrion Crows
- 1 Chaffinch
- 2 Coal Tits
- 1 Robin
- 2 Song Thrushes
Ms B had taken a picture of a bird that she had seen at Christmas in her garden. It was identified as a heron! The lady form the RSPB was very impressed.
