Cultural Diversity Workshop for Primary 7

Primary 7A were invited to join Chapel Rd Primary school for a cultural Diversity Workshop in their school hall. The workshop began with an extremely enjoyable and entertaining play, 'The Honest Sod'. The play explored the story of the plantation in Ireland and the variety of languages spoken in Ireland. The children learned that even though people may come from different places and may speak different languages, we can still communicate with one another.The children then played a number of games and learned how to count to 10 in Irish and Ulster Scots. They also learned how to say Hello and Goodbye in these languages.It was lovely to be invited to Chapel Road Primary school and work with our partner class there again!
