P7 visit Beech Hill Base One with the Playhouse.

Today we went to the Beech Hill Base One Europe Museum to take part in workshops provided by the Playhouse and historian Ken McCormack.  During our visit we had the opportunity to learn about the American Base One camp that was situated there during World War ll.  Christmas was a special time at Base One for the Marines as they hosted parties for children.  While we were there we made christmas stars, with Kirstin Mclaughlin , the Playhouse Children's Artist, which are to be displayed around thehouse. We got some home made cookies and juice too.  It was a lovely day out.
